Cami trained in Santa Fe, NM at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts where she studied Polarity, Craniosacral, Ortho-Bionomy, Ayurvedic Nutrition & Yoga. In addition, she is a certified Reiki Master, and has deepened her study of Craniosacral Therapy by completing a 2 year certification in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in Boulder, CO at the Colorado School of Energy Studies. Her work in South Pasadena, CA (where she resides) has led her to a strong commitment to integrative medicine. She has lectured on the subject at such places as Harvard Medical School, Boston Pilates and the Hebrew Rehab. She works with a broad client base and takes a special interest in integrative perinatal and end-of-life care and works with many expectant mothers as well as elderly and terminally ill. In her practice, Cami combines the modalities of Craniosacral, Polarity, Reiki, Ortho-Bionomy and Ayurveda to best suit the needs of the individual client. Each session consists of hands on bodywork as well as a personal consultation that includes self-care techniques unique to each client and session .
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapists (BCST) are certified by the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Tranings (IABT) and require 700-hours of class work and hands-on experience. Quality assurance measures such as competency assessment and post-graduate activities such as continuing education and supervision are also required. Polarity Practitioners are certified by the American Polarity Therapy Association (APTA) and a Registered Polarity Practitioner (RPP) must have 700 hours of class work plus extensive clinical experience. Reiki Master certification requires three levels of certification: Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki Master, which can take up to 1-2 years to complete.
